Copyright and License
1. Preamble
Journal Problems of Computational and Applied Mathematics (PCAM - in uzbek Hisoblash va amaliy matematika muammolari) is committed to the principles of Open Access and the widest possible dissemination of scholarly research. This Copyright Notice outlines the terms under which articles are published in PCAM, emphasizing author copyright retention and the Creative Commons license that governs the use of published works. Our aim is to protect the rights of authors while ensuring that their research can be freely accessed, shared, and built upon by the global academic community and the public.
2. Copyright Ownership
- Authors who publish their articles in Problems of Computational and Applied Mathematics (PCAM - in uzbek Hisoblash va amaliy matematika muammolari) retain full copyright of their work.
- PCAM does not require authors to transfer their copyright to the journal or its publisher, Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Development Research Institute. Authors grant PCAM a license for first publication.
3. Publishing License and User Rights
- All articles published in PCAM are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license.
- This license permits users, including readers and the general public, to:
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.
- Under the following conditions:
- Attribution (BY): Users must give appropriate credit to the author(s) and PCAM as the original source of publication (including the article title, author(s) names, journal name, volume, issue, page numbers, year, and DOI). A link to the original article and the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license must be provided, and users must indicate if any changes were made to the material.
- NonCommercial (NC): The material may not be used for commercial purposes.
- ShareAlike (SA): If the material is remixed, transformed, or built upon, the modified material must be distributed under the same CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license as the original.

4. Authors' Rights for Reuse of Their Own Work
As copyright holders, authors have extensive rights to reuse their own work published in PCAM, subject to proper acknowledgment of the original publication in PCAM (including a full citation and DOI link) and the terms of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. These rights include, but are not limited to:
- Posting copies of their published article on personal or institutional websites, or in institutional or other non-commercial subject repositories (as detailed in PCAM's Repository Policy).
- Reproducing their article, in whole or in part, in other works created by them (e.g., in a book chapter or a review article), with proper citation to the PCAM publication.
- Using their article for teaching purposes or for internal institutional use.
- Presenting their article at meetings or conferences and distributing copies.
5. Copyright of Peer Review Reports
- Peer reviewers who provide reports for manuscripts submitted to PCAM retain copyright of their review reports.
- PCAM maintains the confidentiality of the peer review process. Review reports are shared with authors in an anonymized format (under our double-blind peer review system) to aid in manuscript improvement. PCAM will not publish or otherwise share reviewer reports without the explicit permission of the respective reviewers.
6. Disclaimer
The views and opinions expressed in articles published in Journal Problems of Computational and Applied Mathematics (PCAM - in uzbek Hisoblash va amaliy matematika muammolari) are solely those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of PCAM, its Editorial Board, or its publisher, the Laboratory Modelling of complex systems of the Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Development Research Institute. PCAM and its publisher disclaim any responsibility or liability for any material contained in published articles.
7. Enforcement of Copyright
While authors retain copyright, PCAM is committed to helping protect authors' rights and will endeavor to address any instances of plagiarism or copyright infringement concerning articles published in the journal, in line with its ethical policies and COPE guidelines.
